Little Waves

With the camera right down close to the surf, these waves are only two or three inches high.

The third picture had the best effect, looking either close or wide angle is the fun of photography.

Boat Launch Mishap

FAIL

ANGER FAIL OOPS UNINTENDED DESCENT
Grandpa lost control of things while at the boat launch yesterday.
Seen on the way home from work along Reeds Lake last night.
What a bummer.

1968 Quicksilver Messenger

a.k.a. Heavy Metal Messenger

I saw two nostalgia cars this weekend past. An old family station wagon (still running strong judging from the 65 mph it was doing on the highway) and a VW bus. Can't recall the last time I saw either one of those vehicles and it made me think of cars that have come and gone in my life. It also made me think of you.

Street Scene Rat Rod School Bus

Wicked old school bus hot rod travel trailer from Ontario.
Seen yesterday at the FlyingJ truck stop in Lansing, MI
Our friends from Canada know how to kick ass.

Got to love the FlyingJ. Best gas prices anywhere, and not bad food either...
