Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Hey, we have landed in Albuquerque for a few days, and I can get caught up on some foto editing and posting, finally! I am feeling a little guilty and like there is something missing from my daily routine because of my lack of Fotopaging.
To my surprise and delight, however, even though I have not been able to post anything new or even look at anybody else's Fotopage in many days, I have two or three new Trackbacks. How cool is that? You guys are the best!
Today's fotos are from Eureka Springs, which lies just south of the border from Springfield, Missouri. Eureka Springs is a bit Victorian, a bit college campus, a bit old hillbilly, a bit historical, all tucked away in a forested mountain setting. Don't be in a hurry to get there or leave again; it's only accessed via two-lane mountain roads.
Y'all come back now, 'hear?

Saint Louie's Arch

Our first stop of this year's vacation was in St. Louis. The city was very clean and the people were nice. There are a lot of celebrations in St. Louis this particular year, and we couldn't see them all in just a day and a half....
But we did see the arch, of course, and a free concert under the arch by the B-52s! Here are my favorite arch fotos; there are more on my SLR film camera, but I'll get them developed later....
Love shack, baby!

Excellent set JP.. Sun 25-Jul-2004 20:42

I'm actually from St. Louis and I miss it like crazy. Your shots made me all nostalgic. I'm glad you liked it there. Out of all of my travels it still is my favorite place to live. Truly beautiful, wonderful shots. Mon 2-Aug-2004 21:39
